Gathers Strategies, Inc. provides strategic business development and government relations advisory services to companies that need to interface with and engage various governmental entities at multiple levels in advancing their business goals and objectives.

With more than two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors, we have a unique appreciation for and understanding of the role of government and the needs of the private sector in making effective long term business decisions.  We aim to bridge that divide and foster effective strategies for our clients.

Whether it’s a developer that must navigate the permitting process; a company considering expanding into the California market and has to understand cost, regulatory and tax implications of one community versus another; or a foreign investor seeking to invest in or expand their business activities in the US requiring an understanding of US governmental regulatory issues and regional challenges and opportunities, all require the understanding, support, or possible approval of some level of government. 

Our role is to understand your business and its goals and objectives, and to become a valuable part of your team as we develop effective strategies to address your business needs, communicate your message, promote your value proposition, and advocate for your interests.

As the State of California would represent the eighth largest economy in the world, our practice focuses on supporting companies seeking to develop and expand opportunities in this dynamic region, especially in Southern California.  However, we are also building a platform where we can assist our local clients with issues and as they pursue opportunities beyond our region. 

As such, we are pleased with the formation of strategic relationships in place that will allow us to offer our clients a broader range of services over a wider area, including addressing Federal government issues and opportunities in Washington, D.C. (regulatory and appropriations) and business development and government relations in the Southeastern U.S. 

Internationally, we offer strategic partnerships in a number of areas and will expand upon them as we grow.  These include Australia, Israel, South Africa, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
